Vera Akotuah - Figurative Artist

Vera Akotuah is a London, England based artist and studied at The London College Of Fashion. She is a self taught artist and works in a figurative style using charcoal and pastel. Her art has been featured in exhibitions internationally including Gallery Le Deco Tokyo, Noho Gallery LA, and Orbit Gallery Space New York.

The charcoal artwork entitled ‘Glam’ was selected to be featured in ‘The Junction Arts Festival’, North America's largest arts meet street festival. ‘Glam’ has also been published this year in print by Los Angeles publication ‘Gentle Strength Quarterly’. Four of the original coloured pastels in the portfolio were featured on the set of a live TV show in Washingtion DC, called 'The Urban Flow'.

Vera is a mother of one and also owns and runs infant design label ‘Smile Bright’ a fun brightly coloured unisex line inspired by the spirit and energy of kids under four.
