Growing up in the barren, windswept Texas panhandle influenced Tia Lynn’s desire to bring color and inspiration through our eyes and into our hearts. After years as a studio artist in New Mexico, Tia felt an inner direction to help people as a Yoga Therapist and Stress Management consultant. That experience inspired her to return to her "passion for paint" and share the same experiences though her art.

Tia's artwork is primarily done using acrylic paints on gallery-framed canvas. The exceptions are her three-dimensional pieces where anything might be incorporated into the work! The themes of her work range from the bright tropical and whimsical cocktail inspired pieces, to more serious symbolic work. The large canvases are perfect for use in corporate and loft spaces, but provide wonderful focal points for any home with her intense colors and grand gestures of movement.

Many individuals and corporations have chosen Tia's work for use as a signature brand image. Her work has been purchased for display in public spaces and hospitals and she was selected as one of Texas' emerging artists for the 2007 Dallas Contemporary Wish! Auction.  Tia hopes that with her affordable range of artwork, there is sure to be a piece for everyone!

Tia Lynn is the proud owner of a 1967 Volvo 1800S and a 1998 V70 R.  As a native Texan, the call of the open road and joy of driving has inspired her to create a collection of note cards like the one you see here in the portfolio. KCB Portfolio

Tia, the founder of Kick Cancer’s Butt, is a passionate artist who believes in the healing power of art. The images she creates pay homage to those who have been touched by cancer.
